Have you ever gone down the back of a sofa and found a tenner? Well I found some strings recorded in a hall that I'd completely forgotten about.
I'm in the process of having a chuck out. In with the new, out with the old. And like with any chuck out you always stumble across relics you forgot you had. In this instance part of a sample R&D session I performed with a big bank of strings in a big hall with lots of mics. For "coverage" I got them to play some long static notes.
This is part of a series of stuff I'm putting up here. When you see the golden "Archive" versions, that's the old stuff, the black "origins" stuff is a whole new personal sample library I'm putting together.
Here's where you can help though. In order to create a truly workhorse set of samples built according to all the secret gems I've used to blag may way through a fairly successful career as a media composers I've started learning how to script.
