KORG Gadget 3 offers more features to quickly help you transform your ideas into music. This update includes two new instruments, five plug-in effects (IFX), a new genre selection system, and support for VST3 and AUv3. Gadget 3 introduces two new gadgets: Santa Ana, a new sampling based rhythm guitar virtual instrument, and Sydney, a flexible loop sampler with time stretching capabilities. For iOS users, the biggest good news is the addition of AUv3 support - which allows all 40+virtual instruments within Gadget to be used not only in the Gadget app, but also in Logic Pro, AUM, and other applications, making it a milestone update. It is worth mentioning that there are still some instruments that do not support plugin mode, such as iMS-20.

Korg also stated that due to optimization, the new Gadget 3 workflow is simpler and more intuitive, and the new playback page also brings easy-to-use arpeggios and chord functions.

In addition, users can also explore in the new sound browser and choose small tools based on the desired sound. If you unlock the complete Gadget Instrument collection, the browser can directly access over 6000 sound programs.

In addition, the new version also provides a new genre selection feature that allows users to create songs based on their favorite modes. This feature is now built into the song mode in Gadget 3- a great addition to help you compose music more flexibly.
