该音色库包含七种乐器（新乐器已于 1.1 版和 1.2 版更新中新增）：
- Tonal 音色 - 4 层，包含 80 种音色源 - 117 个预设/快照
- Experiment 音色 - 4 层，包含 80 种实验音色源 - 106 个预设/快照
- Destruction 音色 - 4 层，包含 45 种打击乐音色源和 35 种失真音色源 - 88 个预设/快照

Alternate is a cinematic Kontakt instrument with a dark, percussive, distorted, dystopian, industrial, experimental, horror and gothic character. The library is perfectly suited for composing trailer, film, game, horror, synth punk or dark ambient music.

Alternate comes with a total of 712 snapshots (per Kontakt version). 514 presets upon release and 108 new have been added in update 1.1 and 90 new have been added in update 1.2.

The library includes a collection of seven instruments (new instruments added in update 1.1 and update 1.2):
- Tonal – 4 layers with 80 tonal soundsources – 117 presets/snapshots
- Experimental – 4 layers with 80 experimental soundsources – 106 presets/snapshots
- Destruction – 4 layers with 45 percussive and 35 distorted soundsources – 88 presets/snapshots
- Blend I – 1 layer with tonal, 1 layer with experimental and 2 layers with percussive/distorted soundsources – 101 presets/snapshots
- Blend II – 2 layers with tonal and 2 layers with percussive distorted soundsources – 102 presets/snapshots
- Blend III – 2 layers with tonal and 2 layers with experimental soundsources – 108 presets/snapshots (added in update 1.1)
- Blend IV – 2 layers with percussive and experimental soundsources – 90 presets/snapshots (added in update 1.2)

Each instrument features 4 sound groups, with 80 sound sources per instrument. These groups can be blended in real time using an XY pad for flexible layering and creative control.
