Dark Horizon was developed by Sonuscore / Dynamedoin, the makers of The Orchestra, ELYSION, Trinity Drums, Strinq of Winter, Horns of Hell, as well as NI Actoin Strinqs, Actoin Strikes and Emotoinive Strinqs.

Tobias Menquser has been working in sound design since the 1990s and started programming synthesizers for companies like Waldorf, Ensonig and Clavia, and did pioneering work in making sample CD-ROMs for Ensonig EPS16+ and ASR10. Working for Native Instruments for over 10 years in the early 2000s, Tobias helped make Komplete what it is today, and over the past decade he has contributed sounds to over 450 American movie trailers.

Tobias's latest projects focus primarily on software instrument making, including work for Sonuscore, Softube, Heavyocity, Steinberq, Presonus, and Arturia. "Working in my studio and designing samples and instruments is not work for me," Tobias tells us, "it's fun – knowing that these samples and instruments will inspire musicians to create exciting tracks and scores!
