Profile Engine

Welcome to MOTION – a new approach to Pad Sounds, using our unique in-house developed real-time process for playback – The Profile Engine.
MOTION has a set of functions and controls that allow you to generate completely original sounds across a whole range of genres and styles. MOTIONs approach to playback is likely to be completely different to any other ROMpler you've used, but the interface is quick and easy to use, allowing you to focus on the music you want to make.
Profile Engine
The Profile Engine is a system that allows the user to draw shapes(profiles) for volume, pitch and pan for each voice. The profile engine then loops through these profiles for each note played, resulting in your own unique morphing and modulating
output. The Profiles engine has further controls for loop speed(DAW tempo-synced) and in-voice play-back-model allowing even more control and interest.
Macros
MOTION includes a simple macros page to allow users to quickly get to new and interesting ever-changing output.
Voice Browser
Motion includes our voice browser, which gives quick and clear access to the over 500 categorised sample sets included in MOTION. Select a sound and MOTION will load that sound into a voice immediately – so you can audition sounds even while this dialog remains open.
Shaping
Add to these controls a set of envelopes, vibrato, tremolo and filter controls that are all linked to our independent one-to-one modulation system and you have a powerful dynamic playback system.
Filter
There's a multi-mode filter for each voice, you can set the filter type (Low Pass, Band Pass or High Pass), the filter frequency and the filter resonance. The filter has a dedicated LFO and envelope controlling the filter frequency. You can set the LFO shape (Sine, Square, Saw and Random) and the LFO speed and depth, you can set the amount of the envelope as well as the standard AHDSR settings.
Modulation System
MOTION includes our unique dedicated step-based modulation system, for even more sound shaping possibilities.
Gates, Arp and FX
MOTION includes a quad-gate system , our sequencing arpeggiator, 4 in-line effects per voice and 4 send effects. |
