A Journey Into Deep Calm
Kumori is a soothing collection of meditative flutes, gentle pads, and calming textures designed for the free Soundbox player. Featuring a curated palette of nine presets, Kumori blends the organic breath of traditional flutes with serene, atmospheric elements to support moments of reflection, rest, and restoration. The instrument includes two Bansuri flute presets and two Xiao flute presets, each delicately expressive and full of breath - alongside three immersive meditation pads, a singing bowl inspired preset, and a subtle selection of environmental and ambient percussion effects.

With the Soundbox player freely available, there's no license required - just download Soundbox from Audiomodern's website and explore Kumori instantly.

Each sound in Kumori has been recorded with care and precision, capturing the soft articulation and intimate character of every tone. Whether it's the airy resonance of the Bansuri, the ancient depth of the Xiao, or the gentle shimmer of ambient textures, every layer is designed to unfold slowly, encouraging stillness and presence. The Soundbox interface makes it easy to shape your sound. Each layer is fully adjustable with ADSR, effects, modulation, arpeggiator, and a versatile vector pad for morphing through layers with various vector shapes. Plus, you can quickly tweak volume, panning, and solo/mute layers on the main page, giving you total control to sculpt the soundscapes to suit your project. Once you've perfected your setup, save your unique presets using the intuitive and easy to use browser.

Adding new packs to Soundbox is a breeze! Head to the User Sounds menu, enter the preset and pack manager, click Import, and select the downloaded Soundbox Pack (.sbpack file) and you're done!
