You get that light, movie-toned vibe and nostalgia, but you get the fact that it's a beautiful UC3 upright piano.

The Yamaha UC3 is a lovely upright piano that could pass for a regular tall old piano if it weren't for its stunning polished ebony finish.

The Dust Piano doesn't sound like a beat-up old piano that's been sitting around for decades, as many similar instruments do. You get the atmosphere and nostalgia of those atmospheric movie sounds, but you don't lose sight of the fact that it's a beautiful UC3 upright.

The Dust Piano has five presets that showcase different layers and elements of grain: Ashes, Dust Piano, Faded Future, Film Grain, and Shadowlands.

You can tweak the two texture layers, Dust and Ash, to create more or less of that hazy, nostalgic vibe. While these textures are at the heart of the Dusty Piano, it's worth noting that turning both down gives you a warm and mellow upright sound.

You can also adjust elements like attack, release, age, and grit to shape the tone that's right for your project. Another interesting addition is adjustable key noise.
