A symphony of unique textures
Experience the shimmering layers of nine harps, the sonorous warmth of a marimba orchestra, and the delicate complexity of 18 mandolins, charangos, and ukuleles. Made up of a rare combination of instruments, the Spitfire Swarms ensemble swirls around AIR Studios Lyndhurst Hall to create haunting trills, epic glissando, intricate rhythmic patterns, and soaring melodic lines.

The ethereal textures of Harp Swarm, the percussive choirs of Marimba Swarm, and the chaotic intertwining beauty of Mandolin Swarm, previously only available as separate libraries in the full version of Kontakt, are now available as a single, comprehensive library in the free download of Kontakt Player.

The "swarm" concept is inspired by pointillism in Neo-Impressionist art - the use of discrete dots of pure color that merge into richer tones in the viewer's eye. The technique developed by Georges Seurat in 1886 is also reflected here, with discrete short notes coalescing into longer continuous tones in the listener's ear, bringing a gorgeous texture to film sound design.
