The fourth in a series of tools for widescreen composers, Albion IV presents over 800 unique and extraordinary atonal, aletto and 'progressive' articulations for large ensembles. Presented alongside an epic collection of nearly 200 bent orchestral mixes powered by the Edna Synth engine.

UIST's performances are in keeping with the Albion range as it was recorded on large epic film orchestral ensembles; strings high, strings low, winds high, winds low, brass high and brass low, all playing these meticulously crafted 'progressive' techniques. Everything is arranged to interlock between the sections. As these ensembles were recorded to tape in the hall at Air Studios via the finest vintage valve and ribbon mics, Albion IV has been designed to combine seamlessly with the rest of the Albion range as well as the definitive ranges also recorded in the hall at BML and Hall.

Matching the spirit of Volumes 1 to 3, we have subsequently taken these unique recordings and arranged them into a series of pioneering mixed sounds. These various organic orchestras scream synths and widescreen pads from another place and age. There is only one way we could present this uist section of "Stephenson's Steamband Four", as cartridges for our amazing Edna engine. This will morph your listener's world from orchestral order to total twisted chaos!

A band of over 60 of the finest orchestral players, playing the finest and rarest instruments recorded at Air Studios at Lyndhurst Hall in London, recorded to 2" tape via vintage, valve and ribbon mics. We didn't do this for a "vintage" sound, but to give you the ultimate volume of "richness" that is missing from so many sample libraries. Ours is the only tape-based symphonic library in the world. This is all you need to write epic sounding, widescreen cinematic orchestral music straight out of the box. Recorded on large epic cinematic orchestral ensembles; strings high, strings low, winds high, winds low, brass high and brass low. We captured an astounding 800 unique "progressive" articulations, each arranged to interlock between sections.
