This is a deeply sampled library showcasing the talents of some of the finest woodwind players in London today. Recorded to tape in the finest rooms with the finest signal paths. This volume contains a selection of significant articulations curated by multiple award-winning composers and musicians. The library features multiple round robins, dynamic layers and easy to use full-featured legato control vibrato. We offer a wide selection of microphones and mixes to give you control over orchestral, widescreen, close up and intimate. We hope this section will become a classic sample and hopefully encourage and inspire you to write your best work yet.

The British Modular Library is part of a new long-term project to give composers the ability to add detail, musical expression, beauty and focus to their work. To create music that musicians love to play and get the most out of small ensembles, as well as the rich tone and personality they can add to any project. After years of development, Spitfire presents the library of 7 mic positions, recorded at 96k through vintage valve and ribbon microphones, recorded to tape through Prism convertors through Neve preamps and released in Kontakt format at 48k and 24bit, in addition to three very useful "hybrid" versions by our Head of Engineering Jake Jackson.
Features
The first volume features six of the finest players in London today, one solo and two choirs. They are precisely located in their original positions, so combine the a2 patch with the solo patch to get a slightly larger part while maintaining spectral integrity. In addition, it can be combined with other BML modules or the Albion series, maintaining the integrity of the space. Remember, it's not just about panning from left to right. If you want them to sound like they're sitting behind second violin, you have to put them there!
We chose basic articulations to give you full control over vibrato, very realistic legato, and fine short note articulations.
