Creating "Brainwash" Bass

Bass XXL uses a proprietary algorithm designed to supercharge the low end. The plugin does this by generating additional harmonics that are actually above the bass frequencies you want to enhance.

The concept exploits a psychoacoustic phenomenon that causes our brains to interpret sub-bass audio largely based on its harmonics, rather than the lowest sound produced. Even without a sub-bass frequency, we will fill in and perceive bass as long as the appropriate harmonics are present.
