MetaVocals is an easy, quick and super-versatile tool for fixing, editing, enhancing, expanding and mangling vocals in a song.
With its plain interface, it is built around a realtime auto-tuning engine. The tool detects incoming signal's pitch in realtime and, depending on the settings, corrects the intonation in a smooth and natural way. Refine vocals in seconds.
For deeper editing, MetaVocals can output the whole track as MIDI events you can edit in detail in your host's editor. No interfacing to external software, no heavy interfaces, just your standard MIDI editor. Then it gets MIDI in while playing. Total control on the tuning and the doubling/harmonising.
Instance grouping makes setting a whole song (e.g. changes of key?) easy and effective.
Once the main vocals are perfectly refined, MetaVocals starts becoming creative. Two additional voices can be generated on top of the main track, for doubling and harmonies. Simply set the relative position of the additional voices as semitones and let them play with the main vocals. Dynamically control them through MIDI events where needed.
For an even creative use and to start going into the wild, engage the synthesizer mode. Incoming signal gets converted to a synthetic sound, controlled by vocals' parameters. The same for optional harmonies.
Even further, engage the Vocoder mode. Overall spectrum of vocals controls the timbre of the synthesized sound and of optional doubling/harmonies.
Quick, simple, extremely powerful. For us, the best automatic-tuning and harmonising effect.
