An old school drum machine with 21st century sampling techniques: round-robin samples, multi-channel sounds, generative sequencers.
It features acoustic drums recorded in innovative new ways to achieve a warm, dry, chunky sound. There are no traditional velocity layers, only 'normal' + 'accent'. Each of these layers has 10 round robins which gives the drums a living, organic feel.

All the sounds in AC-DR are generated from acoustic drums, using mics, contact mics, live echo chambers and transformer distortion.
Each AC-DR drum module has up to 5 channels to blend. Each of these channels is part of the same drum hit, all perfectly in phase and time aligned together.
