What are the differences between the trial and the full version?
The trial version has no time restrictions, allowing you to download the factory library and explore all algorithms and features.
However, it does not support MIDI output, importing your own sounds and preset saving is disabled. You can unlock the full version
directly from the trial by entering a license key for Playbeat 4.
Is there a discounted upgrade price for owners of previous versions?
Yes, the Playbeat upgrade is available for €29 to all previous version owners. If you purchased the app from our shop,
simply add it to your cart, and the price will automatically adjust to the upgrade offer. If you bought it from a reseller, you can
access the upgrade through them or first register your license key with us, and then the discounted price will be applied at checkout.
Can I create my Own Custom Expansion Packs?
Absolutely! Beyond generating and crafting innovative drum tracks, Playbeat lets you create custom expansions with extensive customization options.
You can fine-tune every detail of your presets to match your creative vision. Once your expansion pack is ready,

Does Playbeat for iPad require a separate purchase?
Playbeat for iPad is available as a free download on the App Store™, with the option to unlock it via In-App Purchase (IAP).
While all expansions can be transferred between devices, so you won't need to purchase the same expansion twice,
the app itself requires a separate purchase on the App Store™.
Can I use Playbeat as a MIDI generator to control other plugins?
Yes, Playbeat features a versatile MIDI output section, allowing it to control other plugins or external hardware.
For Logic Pro on desktop, a MIDI FX version of Playbeat is available, and the iPad version also includes an AUv3 MIDI FX option.
Can I import expansions from the previous version into the new version 4?
Yes, all expansion packs created in previous versions can be imported into version 4. Most of our own expansion packs
are already included in the Playbeat 4 factory library. If you have custom expansions created with the previous version and want to transfer them, you can simply
export them from the previous version and import them into version 4.
