This product is a tribute to the now classic drum sound of the "Black Album" released in 1991 by the band Metallica. Having managed to track down the same exact kit used in 1991, recorded in the same studio (the former One On One in North Hollywood, CA) with the same mic and recording path and taking advantage of renowned recording engineer Mike Tacci who was assistant on that record, Chocolate Audio went all the way in trying to recreate the sound and vibe of the historic release.
