Drumasonic 2LE has reduced drum models but retains all the same features as the full version. Both Toontrack Superior Drummer 2 and FXpansion BFD2 offer a wide range of effects, fully customizable routing and mixer configurations, and a plethora of sample expansion packs. XLN Audio's Addictive Drums continues to win Brownie points with its easy-to-use architecture, superb compressor, and a growing number of themed expansion packs. Like Drumasonic, the Native Instruments Studio Drummer series takes full advantage of Kontakt 5's effects and architecture, while being slightly hampered by the inability to cross-match kits between games. Steven Slate Drums 4 offers a wide variety of high-quality sample kits and has a fervent following. Despite having no built-in effects,
