我们录制的内容

What we recorded
Creating CROWDS – WAR & BATTLE was quite challenging, because in order to be able to achieve the flexibility we tested for years how to combine most effectively very granular recordings with actually complete crowds. Eventually we started by recording a vast collection of single voice one-shots with local actors, capturing everything from attack shouts to pain and fear screams.
These raw performances became the foundation for creating dynamic sequences and group shouts of varying intensities, sizes, and distances using various methods of processing. To get a more open spacing and reflections, we recorded a group of actors in the field, separating male and female actors to make it as versatile as possible. We positioned different mic setups for multiple distances and perspectives.
We also recorded big stadium crowds and riots and used this material to create realistic background "wash" layers, which can be used highly controllable to get the realistic depth of such huge crowds. The result is a versatile Battle Crowds Toolbox, giving you all the building blocks — individual voices, different group sizes, intensities, mic positions, and a vast amount of different actions to craft the perfect battle scene for your project.
